Research interests in the area of olfaction from physiology to chemistry. Has been involved in the development of gas sensor arrays for sensing odours based on conducting polymers, that became commercialised by Aromascan plc, now Osmetech plc.

Prof Adisa Azapagic

Adisa's research interests are in the area of Engineering for Sustainable Development, which includes systems optimisation, sustainable technology, life cycle assessment, carbon footprinting and corporate sustainability. She has over 100 publications in these areas of interest, including three books.
